If you feel any information we request is excessive, we invite you to voice your concerns. Similarly, if we believe certain information you request from us is unnecessary to conduct business, we will ask questions to better understand your need for the information and respectfully convey any concerns or alternatives.

Secure Transmission: We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect data transmitted between your browser and our website’s servers. This ensures that any information you submit, such as contact details or form submissions, is encrypted and secure. You can verify this by the “https://” and padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

Secure Storage: Personal information, such as names or email addresses, hosted by our third-party website hosting service. In addition, Pressable, our hosting provider, has deployed a web application firewall to further prevent access to our website. We limit access to data about our visits and customers only to authorized personnel only, namely the founders of Conscio & Company.

No Senstive Payment Data Storage: We do not collect or store sensitive payment information, such as credit card details, on our servers. All payment transactions are securely processed through Stripe, a trusted third-party payment processor, which adheres to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements. Only the last four digits of your credit card number are displayed for order confirmation, and the full number is securely transmitted to the payment processor during checkout.

Additional Security Practices: To bolster the security of our website, we implement several key practices: we regularly update our software, including content management systems and plugins, with the latest security patches to mitigate vulnerabilities; we enforce strong password policies and multi-factor authentication for internal systems to prevent unauthorized backend access; we practice data minimization by collecting only essential information as outlined in our Privacy Policy, reducing storage risks; and we actively monitor for suspicious activity while maintaining secure, cloud-based backups with strict access controls to ensure data recovery in case of an incident.

User responsibilties: To help maintain the security of your information, we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords for your account and refrain from sharing them with others, sign out of your account when using shared or public computers, and exercise caution against phishing attempts by avoiding suspicious links and refraining from providing personal information in response to unsolicited requests.

Limitations:  We take strong measures to secure your data, but no online system is completely safe from cyber threats. We follow data protection laws like GDPR, quickly addressing security issues and we will notify affected users within 72 hours if unauthorized access occurs. Unauthorized use of our website may result in criminal or civil legal action. We routinely update our security practices to align with industry standards and new risks to keep your data protected.  Ultimately, we do not guarantee that your personal information will not become accessible to unauthorized persons and Conscio & Company cannot be responsible for any actions resulting from unauthorized access to  personal information which is supplied over the internet or any public computer network.
